ABOUT US
The Corona Norco United Way is a 501c3 non-profit organization that has been in existence since 1952. While we are under the United Way Worldwide umbrella, each United Way runs independently to meet the needs of their community, fundraise, and operationalize programs--we are no different.
We are trusted with the transformation and sustainability of families* in Corona, Norco and surrounding areas. (*If you are a person, you are our family) who are exposed to domestic violence, poverty and homelessness.

Through free, confidential, and non-judgmental programs, we strive to inspire individuals to live purposeful lives—often moving them from crisis to community builders.
WE ARE TRUSTED
Confidence and Care: Confidentiality is the first step to providing support and is integral in providing expert care.
Immovable and Impartial: We are convinced that life change is possible for every person regardless of race, gender sexual orientation, or class.
WE PRIORITIZE TRANSFORMATION
Process & Personal: We research and implement best practices for life change while embracing the uniqueness of each need.
Immediate and Imaginative: Ensuring our clients safety is our first concern. Then, we help them imagine and live a life of hope and opportunity.
WE PURSUE SUSTAINABILITY
Change and Compassion: Our approach integrates empathy, coaching, and targeted challenges leading our clients to self-sufficiency.
Capability and Community: We inspire individuals to live purposeful lives-- often moving them from crisis to community builders.
Anti-Racism/Ethnic Discrimination Policy
Corona-Norco United Way is committed to fostering an environment free from racism, discrimination, and bias. We firmly believe in the inherent dignity and worth of every individual, irrespective of their race, ethnicity, color, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law. Our commitment to anti-racism and anti-discrimination is integral to our mission of supporting youth, individuals in poverty, and victims of domestic violence.
We recognize structural racism/ethnic discrimination and other forms of oppression have contributed to persistent disparities which United Way seeks to dismantle.
We understand that these disparities have existed in the past and persist into the present.
We acknowledge that these inequities are the result of policies and practices that work to marginalize entire populations of people.
We unequivocally denounce racism/ethnic discrimination because it undermines the well-being and vitality of our communities.
Our United Way network strives to engage community members, especially those whose voices have traditionally been marginalized.
We work with residents and public and private partners to co-create solutions that ensure everyone has the resources, supports, opportunities and networks they need to thrive.
We commit to leveraging all of our assets (convening, strategic investments, awareness building, advocacy) to create more equitable communities.
(Note: much of the language above is adopted from the United Way’s Equity Vision in United Way’s Equity Framework: Strengthening Our Equity Muscle to Accelerate Impact, developed in collaboration with local United Ways.)
Limited English Proficiency Policy
Corona-Norco United Way is committed to ensuring that individuals with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) have meaningful access to our programs, services, and information. We recognize the importance of providing effective communication for all individuals, regardless of their English language proficiency, to ensure equal access and participation in our mission to support youth, people in poverty, and victims of domestic violence.
